Target Audience:
The target audience of our film opening mainly comprises of adolescents and young adults. We chose them as teenagers tend to be more interested in dark comedy/mystery films, rather than the obvious: children, and most middle-aged adults. Moreover, the main characters in the film are also teenagers, so audiences around that same age can sympathise more with the them, unlike someone that is 30 years old. An example of a somewhat similar show to our film is 'Stranger Things', which includes aspects of horror, comedy, and drama. The series' target audience is also the same as ours, due to its genres and characters.
